These two from the Horton Compound are very cool indead ! After a weekend of dodging rain and gathering wood I noticed the .34 had a pretty good dent in the edge. I straightened it out with the edge of a screwdriver and then sharpened it on a diamond bench stone and a True hard Arkansas stone back to hair popping spec.
The A2, with Jeremys heat treat, really amazed me as this was only "bent" where other blades would have easily chipped .
The .415 is not as much of a handful as I thought it would be and actually chops very well due to the mass it carries. It also comes in handy in tight areas, like alot of deadfall, due to its shorter length.
Awesome Blades !!
Unique and hand made, probably no two will ever be alike.
