I just finished up this camp/field belt knife. It's been a bit since I've made a fixed blade.

5 1/2" blade forged from 1075 with auto-hamon. Rounded spibe and ricasso edge. Black g-10 collars with fileworked bronze accent band. Afzelia Xylay wood sculpted wood handle. 10" overall length.

It'll go to Claude Scott for leather once it finds a home.

That is stunning! I have not seen that wood before, or if I did it did not look this good.
Thanks man. It's such a cool wood. Probably one of, if not THE, rarest woods there is.

It only grows in a tiny spot on the border of Laos and Cambodia.

I have some stunning pieces yet in my stash.
