Camp Knife: 1st attempt !

Just drew up a scale drawing of the camp knife design....damn thing was too big for my scanner so had to take a pic of the drawing !!!

I think the blade looks pretty good but the handle slabs might be a little too wide.

What do ya think, this thing will be a beast either as a camp knife or survival blade !

I agree the handle looks alittle big, but its a drawing. I think it looks awesome. Id buy one.
 
Caine has sent me a pic of a mod he did to the end of the handle but I can't see it too well, I think he would like it more like the one on this knife but he can correct me if I'm wrong !

Just looking at it again and wondering if it might be better with less of a rise on the spine and more of a drop from the handle to the edge of the blade !
What do ya think ?
 
Id leave the blade as is but just mod the handle some. Maybe have a palm swell

13 1/4" overall; 8" blade; 5 1/4" handle.

More finger clearance for when ya slicing food stuff etc !

Dam Pit I stumbled across this post and was like I really love the looks of that.I live in the big woods and could really use a knife like that. All of my user knives have between a 7 to 9 inch blade. I saw this drawing and e-mailed Mark ASAP for details if that tells you how much it sings to me. I really like your designs and reviews Pit!
