I was planning on going to the Scagel hammer in this weekend but it doesn't look like I can make it. These are two pieces I had planned on taking with me.

The first piece is a camp knife in 1065, 416 ss guard and pin, and English walnut handle, 7.25" blade, 12" oal. The second piece is the camp knife's little brother, 4.25" w2 blade, 416 ss guard, English walnut handle, oal 8.75". I've got a beefy fighter that should be finished by this weekend. I've also got a full size fighter that I'll get pics of soon.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it. Spyken I am working on the sheaths now, I really have to be in the right mood to do any leather work :).

Beautiful work, Matt!!
I like the clean lines and user-ability :)
Handles are a work of art

Beautiful knives!

Your work is C-L-E-A-N-!

Personally, I think that's what seperates the guys that really really care about what they're putting their name on.

Nick :)

Thanks guys. I'm only capable of making simple knives ;) :), maybe I'll try something fancy one of these days ;)

Matt, I know someone is going to be very happy with these. I still love the one I have that you made. I'm not sure I would use the term simple, extremely clean and elegant, yes.

Thanks Dave, I didn't know that was your username. You're doing some pretty sweet work. I'm glad you're still happy with your knife.
