I know this is a pretty common affliction with the Becker group........What Knife Anxiety?!?!?!?!?! Well I am heading out for some woods time and along with a bag full of steel, I have decided my BK17 is going to be my main fixed blade for the week :) I put some green/black TKC G10 on it and made a Kydex sheath in horizontal carry so when sitting(there will be MUCH sitting) it won't be in the way. Also makes it easy to grab with either hand when I carry just left of center :) The BK17 just grabs at my heart strings based on my love for my first real fixed blade, an Air Force Pilot's Survival Knife!!!!! Anyway, I gotta go pack some other stuff up soon so I will end my post with a pic :)

Very cool Bill. I like the 17 a lot. The clip point is a lot more useful than people give it credit for.

Are those LMF scales?... Like 'em?... Thicker than stock or pretty much the same contour?

Looky them screws are in a different place and only 2 :D

Very nice man. I love the looks of the 17, but the handles are too small for me though.

Nice gear! The 17 is on my list, not quite at the top but its the one tweener I don't have yet.

I've recently started using my 17, and I really like. I really want some tkc scales, but alas I'm a poor HS student
