Here's something new and different for me...ShokRes Snow Camo scales, 1075 blade, tapered tang, 13 inches overall length. Whatcha think? Anybody else used this stuff?

when I go bowling?

:D

Sweet knife Ben. Not my taste in the handle, but I'm probably the minority. Heck I wrap most my knives with shoe lace so what do I know! ;)

I think it's a cool knife. Real nice hamon control, and the scales are kinda arctic/stormy looking. I think that if they can look like that, and be tough too, it's a win-win!

I like the handles. I think they go well with the overall design and look of the knife. While they may not be as beautiful as exhibition Desert Ironwood, I still think they are attractive and they convey an aire of toughness as well.

I really like the knife, but I've never heard of ShokRes before. What is it?

According to Lorien it's bowling balls;)...could be for all I know. The customer supplied the material. USAknifemaker sells it. I think it's some kind of acrylic resin. Seems to be tough stuff. I would personally like to see a duck call made from it.:)

Phenomenal! Lovely work, ya gotta do something to set yourself apart, you did that. Some impact resistance stuff with those hard ass scales would be awesome.

I think it looks really good! not as traditional as Wood or some other materials, but a really nice package! I'm working on a large Damascus Hunter with some Black material similar to this!
