I made this one for a customer who wanted a 6inch blade. I accidentally made a 7.5inch blade and didn't realise till I'd completed the knife. All along I thought I was grinding a 6incher. The new grinder certainly makes short work of steel !! The Ringed Gidgee has a transparency that I cannot hope to reproduce in photos. I hope he likes it, thanks for looking. Jason.

Jason,

This one's a real beauty, I'm sure your customer will love it. It looks like you made the right decision to devote more time to your knifemaking. Dave

NIce clean work, Jason. The gidgee handle looks terrific. How did you finish the wood?

I'm sorry Jason, your customer contacted me with his displeasure at not getting the 6" blade that he requested. His instructions were for you to send the knife to me, and he would simply have you make another for him. ;) :D

That is a great looking knife! Sure wish my trickery would work, and you would send it to me. :)

Mine,all mine.:) :) :)
Like the "extra 1.5" he made it.
Looking forward to it.

Arrgh! YOU again! You foiled me on the Bailey Bradshaw bowie, and now this? Must you torture me? :)

Awww man! nifrand you lucky dawg!!!! I think it's the christmas spirit that got into Jason for the extra lenght....:D Again, congrats for that beautiful knife!

Eric.

That is a fine looking camp knife you have there. Some people don't think much of ringed gidgee, but I think it is one of the nicest of the hardwoods. It sure does shine up nice.

As usual. . .another beauty from Jason !

Unfortunately Danbo. . .nifrand purchased that one for me. He's a pretty nice Santa ! :p ;) :D

That picture made my heart miss a beat. Wow! What a knife.

Bravo, Jason.

Jason -- Andrew said it perfectly - if you've ever done a knife that deserves to be a "standard" model in your line, this is it !! Make 100, more like 200, with your usual unique bursts of inspiration, of course :) Absolutely classic -- maybe even make a 6" model sometime :D
Mike

Beautiful knife. I love the handle shape. I think this is now my favorite Jason Cutter knife that I've seen. You keep getting better and better Jason.
