One of the nicer blades I've made. Wish I had some better pics.

1084, cocobolo, Asian water buffalo horn and copper





 
Very nice! I love that handle. I also like how you left the flats of the blade with the hammered finish. :thumbup:
 
I like it for the most part, but i'm not convinced about the harpoon clip choice.
It seems a bit odd for a camp knife, eventually in the way for batoning, what do you think about it?
If i imagine the harpoon out of the design, i find it very nice flowing and proportionate :thumbup:

Stezann, Ah, the beauty of custom knives!!! Yep, it is the only "camp" knife I have made with the raised clip. It is a false edge and I left a good bit of meat on it. The customer really wanted it incorporated into the design. It's a knife he will use while at his hunting camp to prep meals or cut a branch from his view while bow hunting in his stand. I doubt it will get a lot of heavy use.

Dudley, Shiva put the edge on this one. I could shave my infidel beard with it easily, no razor burn!
