I do not post a lot about knives I receive, but I just got the Camp knife from last Friday. Wow!!! This thing is a tank. I have been on the verge of pulling the trigger numerous times to give one a try. Really disappointed that I have not gotten one sooner. This is the knife you take if you were told you could only take one blade. It is a large knife, but I think you can do some really fine work with it and in the same breath it will handle anything you throw at it.

Needless to say, but I am impressed. Looking forward to taking it on the next trip. Stay tuned for more picture in the future.

The spalting on that one is incredible and the blue burlap looks great. More pics please!

I had a camp knife before and determined it was more knife than I need, but if you hadn't snagged that one....

That's a beaut! The Camp is up there with the Kephart and my fave model. Fortunately where I live I can carry it around and use it for pretty much everything - and it excels!

Martin,
I'm jealous. That is a great looking knife. Can't wait to hear about some of your excursions with this Camp and see the photos as well.

I love that handle combo, the spalting is old-school cool, and the ricasso is perfect. You sharked a really outstanding knife.

I'm real glad to see that you got one CM. Thanks for the support. The Camp Knife really sings to me. There was a time I didn't make many because I messed them up a lot, but nowadays its a pretty comfortable knife for me to finish. It was a good enough design that I turned it into a production model. That means that in my mind it is a very solid tool.
