This camp knife is made from 1/4" by 1 3/4" 5160 with an 8 1/2" convex grind blade and differentially heat treated. The handle is 5 1/2" long with brown canvas micarta scales and loveless bolts. Thanks for looking

Scott - I can just imagine that this camp knife feels great in the hand! Nice indentation on the choil for choking up and generally nice looking ergonomics.

Any chance you could post a picture of the spine, to see the contour of the handle from the top of the knife?

Really like this one.

Jeff, the handle scales are flat on the sides and rounded from the top down the sides. I brought the finger area up and in. It's kind of hard to explain but this gives you a hand filling grip. I have tested this out on my Busse/ Razorback beast and it works well keeping the knife from turning in your hand while chopping. and split wood. The first pic is the top along the tang and you can see the way the sides are rounded. The second pic gives you an idea of what it looks like in the hand. Hope that makes sense.

I know the second pic is a little fuzzy, but look at my forefinger and you can see how the scale is tapered up for the finger.

Looks like something which will do everything you have in mind at the camp, any camp for that matter! :)
