Just finished this one up for a fellow forum member.
Specs are:

CPM3V
Maple burl wood
416 Guard.
13" overall 8" blade ,5" handle
2" wide at widest part of blade 1/4" thick

It's a real chopper ! Weighs 1 lb and the balance point is 1" forward of the guard. Excellent workmanship ! I'll see now how CPM 3V performs. Thanks Shawn .

Test day ! Yes it looks nice and is very practical with excellent weight and balance.Hacking away at saplings and things was a pleasure .Now if I could find something big to take apart - bison, elephant ,etc !!
 
Very nice design. How did you like grinding that big slab of 3V? I have a bar but haven't touched it yet... I'm thinking I will want some nice ceramic belts or something.

Annealed it was no problem.;) Definately need the ceramics though, and the norton Norax's for the finer grits.

Great looking knife. I would be proud to own that one, let alone say I made it.
