The Camp & Trail arrived today. I am impressed.






Positives:
-Fit and Finish are excellent
-Ironwood looks fantastic and is even better in person
-Blue and White liners are awesome (gotta fly my colors, Go Big Blue)
-the knife is beautiful, but not so pretty as to disuade use. I think it will look better with age and memories
-this knife feels solid. I don't think I have to worry about wearing it out, it will only get worn in
-having the good fortune to be able to deal with Mr. K and getting exactly the knife that I wanted

Neutral:
-handles are thick; really fills my hand. This may become a positive with use and as I get a better feel for it

Negatives:
-Some addicitve chemical must be added to the finish on these knives, becuase I haven't had it for 6 hours and I want another one.
 
Nice photos! If the handle is too thick, just send it back and I will thin them down for the cost of return shipping.

Beware, soon you'll have a large pile of JK knives if you are like me......not altogether a bad thing, keeps me out of trouble!

Thanks guys. I really couldn't be more pleased. It is a rare occurrence when an artist is able to so perfectly execute your vision.
 
Looks fabulous. Ironwood is awesome. My JK pocket scandi has it and it is gorgeous!

i know i said as much in the "picture" thread, but i really like this one. congrats. she's a beaut.
 
Always use a beautiful tool for the job...or is it the right tool for the job. Either way the Camp & Trail made short work of cutting the kids fruit at dinner time.
