Well..My Camp Tramp arrived today!!! Although it is going to go under the Christmas tree, I did handle it for a couple of minutes and I was so IMPRESSED. The following statement is not a joke. When I took the knife out of the sheath, the first thought through my mind was now THATS a knife! I havent seen that movie in so long, but honest to God, thats what I thought. I was totally unprepared for the magnifigance of the knife and I thought that the wireless warranty transponder was a neat addition. I can see why so many owners are so happy with their knives from Swamp Rat. Based on this blade I can guarantee that I will own more of Swamp Rat knives! I look forward to posting my thoughts after some hard usage, but that will have to wait a little while, but fear not, I will use the rat guts out of it. I no longer buy lookers or safe queens Not to anger you guys and gals that do, but I dont see the need in buying the best of a particular item and then not using it. Anyway, I just wanted to share a little of my joy with some folks that will understand it. BTW, that sucker is RAZOR sharp. I own several knives from several quality makers, but I think that this is going to be the go to knife for any type of real chore. Thanks for listening and thanks Swamp Rat Knife Works for making a knife of quality available to us poor saps who still get paid by the hour. Keep up the good work and good prices.
