My main focus is having a compact chopper for day hikes. I'd like the blade to perform well as a skinner and slicer as well in case I get stuck for longer than intended. In short I want a blade that will do just about anything "good enough" and not weight down my belt much. I like the Camp Tramp a lot but can't help taking a second look at the Rat-7 for the price and much shorter delivery time. Anyone have both? A head to head comparison would be invaluable. I'm particularly interested in which is the better chopper.
