Howdy!

My wonderful wife ordered me a Camp Tramp on 12/21 and was under the impression the knife was in-stock & ready to go. I have not recieved it yet, nor have I recieved a reply to my email query on the subject though...

What gives? Is there some reason for the delay - should I expect to wait the 6 weeks for my knife or what? Was the 'in-stock' thing a mistake?

Any information you can supply would be appreciated. Thanks,

We generally ship items approx 3-6 weeks after we receive the orders, you are not charged for any items until we are preparing to ship it. We have very few items in stock at any one time as we are very busy and backordered on most of our items.

I recieved my CT today in the mail. It was a nice suprise waiting at my door when I got home this afternoon!!!

I'm impressed - it's wide, heavy blade gives it a hatchet like feel. And I like the blade shape - it definately qualifies as a Bowie in my book - more so in person than from seeing it on the net. Very blade heavy though so more of a survival knife than a fighter IMO. Should prove to be a very useful tool.

I'm not sure about it being a convex edge though; i'm no expert on the subject but it looks to have a more traditionally ground edge to me. Additionally, I thought it was suppossed to have the 'penetrator tip' though I could have misunderstood... :confused:

Regardless, it's one heck of a KNIFE and I'm very happy with it.
 
I got my CT last week and man it is what I would call scary sharp also. Man it is one heavy duty cutting machine.....I got swamp fever now :) :)
