Located at the SE base of Mt. Rainier this truly is a beautiful camp ground.
Old growth trees all around and our site is right on the Cowlitz river.
Here's the view from my front porch.

Walked down to a nice little fishing hole where the Ohanapecosh and the Clear Fork Cowlitz Rivers form to make the Cowlitz river.

The water is crystal clear.

The BK11 in all its glory!

But the Machax was king of the camp.

It was a great week of camping and I'll definitely come back. The scenery was great and couldn't ask for better weather.

Great pics and some beautiful country. Thanks for sharing them. Looks like some sort of giant monster you've killed with the BK, great pic.

Awesome spot Jonny!!! Discontinuing the BK4 is just crazy to me, one of my favorites...

Good Lord that's beautiful. I could sure spend some time there. Thanks for posting that man.

I just got home a week ago from a week of camping. Your pictures make me want to go again.

Awesome pics! We've already decided to skip the beach next year and start going to the mountains. We've been going to the Outer Banks almost every year with the wife's family as our one vacation for the last 20 years. Now we have a jeep and the sharks are ruining everything, its pretty much a done deal. We're not even excited. In fact, we leave tomorrow and we're not even packed lol. Both beach and mountains are 3-4 hrs east or west. This just has me wanting to head west even more now! Thanks for sharing!

ETA: Failed to mention the lack of blade activities at the coast... That 4 is a beaut!

Wow. Great pics, Jonny. Looks like an awesome place to spend time - was this with the family (don't see that you mentioned one way or t' other)? Makes me jones for a woods trip. Thanks for taking me along.

Haha that's what I thought as well! Awesome shots Jonny! I love your American wilderness. It truly looks so beautiful. Whilst I love the Australian bush, when I look at pics like the above, it seems to say 'home' to me. Weird, I know. Onya Jonny!

This was a family trip. Wife, 5yr old girl, and 8mo old boy. I had my hands full...lol. Otherwise there would have been more pics of the forest and many more knife pics. No complaints though! We had a blast!
