This should be a fun thread.....this knife was traded on another forum and then spent 62 days in the bush of Alaska. Fun to see your knives treated like this!!
Here is text that the user posted on another forum...............

Brian, thank's for posting the pictures. I guide up in Alaska in the fall &
spring. We had a slammer of a season i guided 4 sheep hunter's, all hunter's
got a sheep. 2 of the sheep made book. Then 1 moose hunter he got a 60" moose.
Then 2 brown bear hunter's both got there bear. 1 was 8' 9" and the other made
book, 10' footer 27 5/16" on the skull. The rifle i have laying on the sheep is
a winchester 1895 repro. I had it rechamber & bored out to 9.3x62 mauser.I
shoot a 286grn. bullet for a m.v around 2400fps good bear gun.I should know i
had trigger time on both the bear's. Brian knife worked great! sharpen easy in
the field.I also like to thank Matt Lamey, for the carry bowie he made me. I
used it mostly around camp and a sleeping buddy right next to my custom 5 shot
Ruger. You don't know how much better you can sleep at night... Thanks Jim

Cool!!!!

Makes you feel proud to have had a hand in this with a knife that you made, I bet.

Great pics. Makes me want to go back up there as soon as I can. Africa is next on the list, though.

That's great Brian. I think that's the best part about being a knifemaker. Getting reports that like. Way to go!
