I just acquired one of these off e-bay for nostalgia's sake. I bought it because I owned one of these in the early 1970's. I have no idea what ever became of my original "Barlow Bowie". It came from the local hardware store. That was 30 years ago so my memory is foggy! The same hardware store also sold Camp Kings. I think they were made by Imperial. What do you guys think of these knives? Good for EDC or is it just a fond reccolection?
PS I didn't pay alot this time around either. Originally it may have been $2.97 + tax?

Imperial in the 70s isn't famous for quality- lots of hollow bolsters and thin liners. But, it still shouldn't make a bad EDC. Barlows are about the only pattern tough enough to withstand the Imperial treatment.

Are you sure you don't mean Camco, though? That's a Camillus, and an excellent knife- totally different ballgame. :)
