I find myself carrying my victorinox camper more and more everyday since i got it. It's one of the least tooled saks i own, but i find a use for it in the woods or around the house. My girlfriend even used it today to take out a tree she wanted to make into a hiking stick. I've used it on my buddies scope to adjust it, to pick out pellets and bbs from the target and other things. If it had scissors i think it would be perfect.

No doubt the Camper is a capable knife.

BUT as "Sep" says if you want scissors the Huntsman is a good way to go.

The Camper is a 3-layer knife while the Huntsman is a 4-layer knife.

Even with 4-layers, the Huntsman isn't too bulky to carry in your pocket -- at least for me anyway.

According to some sources the only Vic model purchased more often than the Camper is the Classic. I am a huge fan of the Vic Rucksack which is really only a 111mm locking version of the Camper.

It is obvious your GF likes the saw but a Climber would swap the saw for the scissors if they were more important to you. Not a trade I would make but it is an option.

My working SAK is a nylon handle huntsman.. Its very2 solid, more grippy and wont scratch easily, and got very usefull tools selection.. If you really love the saw blade,an alox farmer would be an excellent upgrade and it build to last. Just combi it with a small classic an you got everything covered.

If you don't need the can opener, you could also look at the Electrician Plus. Almost the same model as the Farmer, but it replaces the can opener with a very useful sheepfoot blade. A combination of such an alox model with a Classic or Ambassador for the scissors works very well.

Well, i have the swisschamp, but sometimes i like to just be able to throw a smaller knife in my pocket. I was looking at the huntsman ruby lite, it has everything i'd want. I just wish i had the money! That knifes been on my list for the past year now.

The Camper is a great outdoors SAK, no doubt, I'm equally likely to carry my Huntsman or my Forrester though.

Im wanting either the camper or hiker for an edc. Dont know if I want the corkscrew or the phillips.

Huntsman is my go-to SAK. Has everything I need. I'm pretty much down to the Huntsman and my Izula as my EDC combo.

Since I wear glasses adding the mini-screwdriver is something I do to every corkscrew SAK I own. Plus the can opener can open most phillips as long as they aren't recessed. Did I mention using the corkscrew as tinder carrier, or a marlinspike, etc. etc.

Just to show I'm not totally biased my "light and simple" SAK is a Schrade Century version of a Vic Waiter that loses the scale tools and replaces the corkscrew with a phillips driver. The combo tool just is not very good on philips so I wanted the driver. I still usually have my Classic on the keyring which I can usually make work as a mini flat head driver.
