I enjoy cooking over flame. Sometime on the propane grill at the house, but mostly over a campfire. We love cast iron. It took awhile to get to know how to use it, and the longer we use the pans, the better it gets. We cook for a number of people quite often. Usually anywhere from 7 -10 and up to 20 commonly. So we love the 20" pans, and the big rectangle pans and kettles... Our grill is 36" across and it holds all the weight and also gives us a "cowboy Kitchen" type of feel. Burgers, shrimp, fish, chicken, pork, or lamb... and don't forget the beef! Clams only when we are lucky enough to be back east... And always the vegies, and the potatoes!
What do you cook on when doing so over a fire?
Here are some pics to start the hunger pangs...

Bring on the Bacon and accessories (note the spoon) My son made that from Maine apple collected from an 100 year old dying apple tree on the family farm in northern Maine... We brought enough home to do several spoons and some knife handles...
Bacon and Bannock and beans Was 1st time making home made bannock... It was a huge hit!
I could not wait for the main course, so I made an appetizer...
It was a very good burger... Pink in center, and lots of flavor from bacon grease.... And yes, my cholesterol is perfectly fine.
