The beginning of this month my gf and I went camping in a national park called Le Perche in France, near the town of Dorceau.
It's a beautiful area and we had some decent weather. The rapeseed fields were so beautiful at this time of year... a sea of yellow all over the country.
Took some pics I though you guys might enjoy.

On arrival the weather was a bit cloudy

Is this the path or a game trail we're walking on? I was pretty clueless at some points

Fruit trees were blossoming... so nice

Not sure what this is, my guess is there will be berries on this plant later on, not sure eatable or not...

Guinness waiting to get away from the campsite :D

Pretty big foot print... could it be from a rowdeer or is this from something bigger?

Beautiful landscape and pics! I enjoyed the post, nice one! One question: could the "marmot" be a coypu instead (Myocastor coypus). From the look of it (moustaches) and the surrounding landscape (plains/hills) it can be possible...

Thank you for the pictures x2.
Very nice landscape and a great companion (the dog).
Congrats.

Wonderful. Thanks for posting.

What's the fixed blade?

What happened to Mr. Marmot?

Beautiful! Also a nice hiking companion you have there. I miss having a good dog to share adventures with.

Thanks. The marmot could be a Ondatra zibethicus... not sure. The Coypu is not very common in europe I think and there wasn't much water around whit it seems to like. But I'm no expert at all.

Thank you for the pictures of this great walk!

Glad you enjoyed the pics. The dog is wonderful company during walks for sure. He keeps the spirit up always :)

There's the Spyderco Bushcraft UK in the tea making picture (hard to see), and it's an Esee 5 in the campfire prep picture...
The orange handled folder is a Lionsteel SR2A.
Oh... and what happens to marmots in France stays in France ;)
