I have just got back from a camping trip on Manitoulin island yesterday, where Chris a buddy of mine and my self stayed on East Lilly lake, and of course i brought along my camera.

And since i always share my trips and outings here, why would this time be any different, so enjoy fellow members.

We fished a bit but never caught anything, probably would have if i spent more time trying. we spent must of are time out hiking, or collecting fire wood.

Great pics, loved the sun set shots !!!
Just one question on your first pic that looks very much like a crate of water in the background ! Where is the beer bro ? C'mon !!!!!!!!

Yeah i know, i know. should of had some brews with us but we left them at home. i did have a bottle of Alberta premium rye, and as for the water chris brought that along. I was down in the lake filling nalgene bottle with my MSR mini water works.

OK I'll let you off this once !!!
Hows that MSR filter, are they a good buy ?

I REALLY like mine, i would recommend it. ive taken water out of swamps, lakes and steams and im still fine. For 90$ CND, you can go wrong. also i still carry Water Purification Tablets just in case, but i have never had to used them. It's awesome to see murky water turn clear and drinkable right in front of you. you can filter approx. 2000L of water with mine before having to get a new filter, and when the filter gets dirty you just clean it off in clean water with the scrubbing cloth that comes with it and it works like new again. and to get a new filter its about 60$ CND. Its simple and an effective device.

Great photos, but I have to wonder about somebody who would take a boombox out into the wilderness. I noticed it featured prominently in several photos here.
