I'm really into playing with kerambits at the moment so a War Boar quickly became a necessity. Service from the company store could not have been better. From ordering to arrival in England, 3 days. The store actually apologised by email for being a tad slow in dispatching my blade!
Then it gets annoying, the carrier emails me that Customs are holding the package until I pay the $90 import duty and they will send me a letter with a 17 digit code so that I can pay over the phone and have it delivered.
2 weeks later, still no letter. When I make enquiries I'm told Customs work at their own pace! Still I can go to the depot with photo I.D. and pay in person.
This would entail a 6 hour round trip!
My girlfriend, bless her, helpfully told me that I already had hundreds of knives so what was the big deal about this one?
How to explain?
Still I bit the bullet and picked up that baby today (black/black, small ring) and it is even better than expected.
Can't wait to have a proper 'play' but I'm off on holiday to the south of France for a week and I'm still taking the girlfriend even though she's a blasphemer.:)
I had to smile at the package though. It was labelled 'Camping Tool.':D

If you actually took it camping, and it was the only knife you had, I'm sure you'd find it more than useful!

Walking man my dear old friend, it's been too long! Funny thing is you are spot on. I bet it would be more useful than one might at first suspect.

Glad you've finally seen the light, and come to the end of the road. As we know, the knife buck stops here! It took me about 2 years of hearing how awesome Busses are before I finally spent the cash on Busses. Very inexpensive compared to a lot of customs out there.
