When camping or hiking how many/what knives do you bring along, and what are your setups? Gold stars for pictures.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately as the weather has been mostly perfect lately and my knee injury is healing. Hopefully very soon I will be heading out into the woods with my new Busse & kin blades and while I want to bring them all, I know that's illogical unless I'm driving up to the campsite.
I've come up with two possible setups:
1. NMSFNO in kydex pants with a drop loop that I am making for the sheath on my strong side and a 3-4" blade in kydex w/ a teklok on my weak side (either my rodent solution, War Dog, or Muk)
2. A B11, Dog Father or B10 (when they come out) in a drop leg kydex sheath w/ my rodent solution or a muk piggybacked on my weak side and either my .22 ASH, SFNOLE, BJ or other knife in the 5-7" range that I don't own yet on my strong side.
(I always keep a leatherman in my pack.)
Tell us about or show us your favorite setups.
