for those of you who don't hang on the Scrapyard forum I thought I would post this here too since it is Busse content
Well I decided to take my son a trip last week, fun time. I also decided for the first time I would do a trip with only a couple of knives instead of the usual truck load I take with me. The idea being I would do an all Busse trip followed by all Scrapyard/all Ranger all Swamp Rat etc. Anyway on to the pics

That's cool, good looking son you got there. Looks like he's having a great time in the outdoors with dad. Camping, camo, and Big Busse knives looks like fun to me. Congratulations and that knife looks even bigger in you boys hand.

Looks like you had a great time. :D

Nice photos and blades. :)

I'm glad to see you're starting the kid off on Coors Light and not the hard stuff. :D Looks like you had a lot of fun.

Oh you are such a kiss up.... :p  :D

Hey there is a reason for my screen name...... drives my wife crazy, all my fantasy football teams are named silverbullets, I almost even named my daughters softball team that, "all you think about is beer, guns and knives" and I say "so what's your point" LOL :p

And i thought it was just my wife that said that kind of stuff. :D

Good times. My son is about to turn 5, and he has been introduced to Guns and knives early. His first word, honest to goodness was "gun".

He was referring to An AR-15 pistol I was holding. His second word was Dad, and mom came later.

He switched over to calling me by my first name shortly there after. Having a kid who can barely walk call his dad by first name always gets a chuckle out of me (I started calling my mom and dad by their first names, mostly because I annoyed my Mom, back when I was a little kid).

My kid has only shot my .22 pistol and rifles, and my AR-15 rifle. I will break him in on the Glock and .357 etc when he is a bit stronger to hold them

I also took one of my folders that I never ever use any more, and ground the edge and point off, so It is like a butter knife. My kid carries that clipped in his front pocket, and people always give him funny looks......well, he is a 4 year old still.

Thanks for posting the pics. I really need to take the kid camping.

Looks like a great time.

I have taken my 6 y.o. camping a couple of times. He loves going out and exploring. He thinks sleeping in the tent is neat.

Now it is time to hit the range and teach him how to shoot and handle a firearm, safely.

Great pics! I remember walking the woods with my father. Def wish I could bring those days back.
