Campo Meteorite for Damascus

A friend of mine and I are on a quest here-- I acquired a 55lb Campo Del Cielo Metorite and after about $500 worth of blades and such cutting, He is forging this into Damascus. I am using some of it in my Thor Hammers as well.
But here are pics of the slices and what I have currently. Makin Space Steel!!!!

(numbers on the pieces are weight in grams)

Gonna be a shame to lose that Widmanstätten pattern but will be interesting none the less. Looking forward to pics.
 
Certainly an attention-grabbing set of first posts! That is remarkably cool. I look forward to seeing what projects this might spawn. For now though, that is one beautiful chunk of metal. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying some more photos would be nice (nothing wrong with the ones you put up, but hey, it's a bloody big chunk of iron from SPACE! You don't see one of those every day.) I do hope you'll preserve a slab of it in a relatively unaltered state. Some things have a natural beauty all their own, and that definitely qualifies.
