Can’t send message to a basic (member?)

Someone wants to PayPal me money for a purchase and requested a message with my PayPal info but I can’t seem to send a message. Any ideas?

The gentleman in question is a Registered User and has no paid membership and cannot send private messages. That was the issue.

"Basic Members" are paid members with the blue banner and have the ability the send private messages.

As a paid member, I would personally require a registered user that I am potentially going to do a deal with to leave their email in the thread or on my profile as Profile post as I pay for the ability to send private messages.

The email can be edited out later for privacy. I would recommend to edit it out of your thread (after private contact is made) to avoid any potential bad actors from obtaining it.
