Can a blade be swapped on a Buck 882

for a blade from an 889?
I'm getting a Buck Strider Tarani 882 with G10 scales, and I'm not a huge fan of CE blades, so I was wondering if a blade swap can be done beteen a 889 and the 882? Also what blade steel is used on the 889? and does it have a BOS ht?

I believe Buckaholic swapped his blades?

The 889 has the coated 420HC blade and NO BOS stamp, but I believe Paul Bos oversees all of Bucks heat treat.
