Can a BM or Ritter MiniGrip blade be swapped into the BM 707 Sequel scales?

They are very close in size according to the specs but I only have the Sequel so I can't really make a direct comparison. Anybody hear or see this done? Anybody have both knives that could post some side by side pictures?

That is a great question. I think the blades are the same length. Probably the same width also. Interested to see the right answer

I guess I didn't dig far enough - it looks like it's a no go and corroborated here. Oh well.
