Can a Mnandi be opened one handed?

I assume it probably can, but how tough is it to do?

Is it reletively easy, or do I need the dexterity of Chis Angel to do it?

Ditto the first 2 responses. I carry mine daily and it's a breeze to open one-handed. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be carrying it.

There is a certain 'elegance' too in using two hands...pinching the blade between thumb and index finger - then feeling it snap into position with both hands
