Can Any one help me find a knife maker to take my knife designs?

Hey all, I have been designing my own knives for some time now but I dont have the time or skills to make them my self and become a custom knife maker. So I was wondering if anyone out there can help me find a knife maker that is willing to help a new guy. I have tactical designs as well as basic hunting designs. Please help me out. Thanks. BTW if anyone is interested I will scan my designs and send them a copy. Thanks Again.

Give Mike Irie a call at 800-578-9226. You might recognize the name from the article in Tactical Knives on his MFK. I've spoken with him several times in the last few weeks and he is genuinely interested in sharing his knowledge and skill with those interested in learning.

It never hurts to ask and I believe that Mike will be more than happy to help you out.

I am not sure, but I think Neil Blackwood (Dr. Lathe)is not terribly backlogged at this time (he may be though). He seems to be very open to new designs, judging by conversations I have had with him. I have viewed his website, and he appears to be very talented. Nice looking designs, and solid working knife features. I don't have the link to his site, but I am sure you could find him on the forums.

Hey all thanks for the replies, what I really am looking for is someone that will take my designs and sell the made knives. I am sure if anyone is interested in doing that we can come to an agreement. Thanks again for the replies.

I would be glad to look at your designs. Please take look at the knives on my webpage, this should give you an idea of what I like to do. I am finishing up the last of the annual hunting knife orders now. I should be back to a one month delivery time soon!
