These belonged to my father and I would like to know more about them.

There appears to be ivory in the hilt.

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The larger ones appear to be a form of kukri from the Indian subcontinent; perhaps India, Nepal, Bhutan. I don't know about the smaller ones.

The larger two are kuhkris of some variety, whether tourist pieces or something else I couldn't say. I'd lead towards them being tourist items due to the amount of engraving, but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, especially on this subject which I know very little about. I'd suggest taking them over to the Benard Levine subforum here on this site. There are some guys there that really know kuhkris. An alternative might be the HI Cantina here as well. The smaller knives look like miniature swords, certainly not like any karda I've ever seen, which again says touristy to me....

Thank You for your replies. I have registered with Ikrhs and will also try the Bernard Levine forum.
Cheers Lorny
