the engraving looks "too new", and might be a little sketch, it's not oxidized in character with the knife

we keep seeing this on older knives popping up. laser etching? lol. now people can do that at home.

I agree, "should" look darker.......aged.
but im not an expert on these things.

the knife certainly is real enough...

etching? i've never seen closeups of all the protos showing the detail.

mine has etching, EB #1, but it's got the appropriate patina as well, and was hand delivered by Uncle EB, so...
