Can anyone give me an age on this Kabar Barlow

Hi all. I'm trying to find out more about this Kabar barlow I picked up in a knife lot on the bay. I can't find it anywhere on the inter webs so I turn to the master of the blade forum. The only tang stamp reads Kabar and it has flat bolsters not the rounded ones like I've seen on other Barlow type knives. The handles are sawcut dyed bone. I'd really like to know how old it is if anyone can tell me or point me in the right direction Thanks. click the photo to see more

Are you sure the scales aren't delrin?? Bolsters look awfully odd, like they're aluminum, not steel, and they look like they don't fit well, maybe have been replaced.
