I played with one once. A lot of fun. I don't really have a use for it at the moment, so I wouldn't buy one, but that's just me. Only you can decide if you have a need for one.

I put all this info up and them I notice you are not from the USA, so all of this is for no use. US has banned the export of 2nd and higher Generation night vision from leaving the US, so use this info as just a guide.

I have sold Night Vision to Law Dept. for 15 years and have demo’d and sold NV to 100’s of civilians and I tell you this from experience. What I say here is the very minimum you should get and these unit will last for years. (if you do not do these things spend the $ on more knives you will be $ a head)

There is so mush out there it is hard to decide. My rule of thumb is use the Russian made or Russian tubes that are assembled in the USA for fishing as your anchor. It does not matter if it is $ 200.00 unit to a $2000.00 unit, they may be impressive in a demo but try using it in the field, and you will see what I mean. Either the are not true/stay true when firing or the do not fit your head too long. A good base line is to make sure you buy your night vision with US tubes with at least 40 – 45 lp/mm, in either Milspec or Comspec. Now for what style…For goggles stay with the Pvs5 if you need depth perception (driving) or Pvs7 as the general use. For your weapon sight nothing less than a Pvs4 is worth a hoot, this is what has proven itself time and time again in the military with its lit reticle adjustment and .223 / .308 mods this is what is needed. You will hear a lot about Generation of night vision and most just try to confuse you, so stay with US 2nd Gen. Stuff, not just 2nd gen. but US tubes made in North America. If it is 2nd or 3rd Gen. it will have paper work. If you have question on specific models just email me I will do my best. Oh, most of what I sell now has intents not for general public

Price range to look for with Warrantee

$1400 – 1800 Pvs4
1400 - 2400 Pvs5
1600 - 2000 Pvs7
