Can anyone give me some info on this one … please

I’ve been trying to find any information about this knife I can. Looks almost identical to the White River GTI 4.5.. except it says OKC and Ranger Knives and is “Carbon steel” instead of S35VN, powder coated instead of the dlc type coating white river uses. I’ve owned just about every knife in the Ranger series made by okc and none had the fit and finish of this particular model, even the kydex is incredibly well made. I purchased this one from one of the online distributors, it arrived in an Ontario box. I’ve beaten on this one quite a bit and it’s impressive so far. Anyone know what’s going on here ? The fit and finish is excellent. I ordered a second one a few days ago. I’m hoping it’s not a counterfeit of some type. The sheath is the exact same as every white river kydex I’ve handled.

Who made it ? What steel ? Is it too good to be true ?

I’ve seen those before but it’s been a while. They’re called a Ranger 4.5, steel is 1095, and Ontario made em.

Model number is RN9470, UPC is 071721094708. If you search for those and include Ontario, you should be able to dig up any info you need. (I would post a link but they’re of course not a kosher dealer. Personally, I think that is such a stupid bullshit rule)
