Sorry for the poor quality photos, but we just moved and I don't have the internet connected yet.
Anyways, this was given to me this past week by my father in law after I mentioned how much I liked it the last time we visited them. It's a Legitimus Collins, but beyond that I know very little. It is 15.5 inches overall with a 10 inch blade. The pitting on the backstrap indicates that if it were modified it was done a long time ago since it is similiar overall.
Some have said circa 1940, but the white plasticized handle notes otherwise.
Any input?
