Can anyone help identify this blade?

I picked up this dagger a few years ago at a garage sale and I’m wondering if anyone can help me figure out any info on it and possible what it’s worth. The most I came up with is that it’s some sort of reproduction of a Roman pugio dagger, but there isn’t a manufacturer’s name/logo anywhere on the blade, handle, or sheath. It may not be easy to see in the pictures but the sheath is made of wood and it’s wrapped in leather with brass (I’m assuming) on the top and bottom. I found this same blade being sold on ebay for around $1600 but I have a feeling it’s worth way less than that. Any info is much appreciated!
