Found in a family collection, I believe it's Ww2 but no idea on which country or what the markings represent. Any help would be appreciated!

WWI - II German Trench knife, I believe that is one of the stamps of Gottlieb Hammesfahr, manufacturer. The Germans used a very similar knife during WWI, but I believe these plainer ones are from WWII.

Edit - Not sure on the maker, but sure on everything else. The German name for these is - "Nahkampfmesser" .
