Can anyone help identify this?

I got this as a Christmas gift from a local 'antique' store but cannot Identify it, the only thing it says on it is CHINA on the base of the blade, the handle takes the shape of what looks to be a rifle and it looked familiar, I looked up some guns and came to the conclusion that the handle is shaped like the Russian concept rifle "Saritch", which looks nearly Identical with a few changes to the handle of the knife I have here, it feels spring assisted and is a liner lock.

Any thoughts?
