I have seen so many different ideas on how you can tell and by the blurry video or pic I can't tell what they are talking about or it's such a small detail I can't tell and everyone seems to have their own opinions. So any help would be appreciated. I'm going to add some pics if I can figure out how.

Where did you get it? What box did it come in? What are the stampings on the blade? What color is the handle? Whats the blade steel?

Any chance you can tell me how to add pics. I'm wondering if me using my iPhone is keeping me from being able to do so.

Yep I have no idea what that is. Hey let's make this difficult! Never mind, sorry to wast anyone's time.

Photo shop and sites like imger are easy you just have to use a hosting site here not hard everyone does it.

take that image link - go to your image shack site - open an image and right click on the image - copy the image location or "URL" which just means "universal resource locator" - the address at which your image is found on the internet -

This is the location of one of your images -

Then put "image tags", commands that tell the forum to display your image in your post -

You type the image tags like this - paste the copied URL of your image between a starting image tag [img] and an ending image tag [/img]

You'll see this in your post

If it was from Amazon, and not an individual, then it is most likely legit. Amazon is a genuine Spyderco dealer.

I don't have anything against Amazon but maybe if I ordered somewhere els I would have a little peace of mind. I don't suspect it to be fake I just ordered mine then saw how many fakes there were and it made me nervous with it not being a cheap knife

I've had nothing but good luck getting Spydies through Amazon. Look at the seller--it's usually Amazon themselves. Also keep in mind that many large dealers also have an Amazon store.

It's nice to get a knife in two days with Prime, and know that if it has a problem, they will cross ship me a new one, and I'll have the new one in my hands two days later.
