I know they are both Buck Folding knives but I cant identify the model types or the dates the knives were made. Can anyone help me?

The first 2 links are pics of what I think is a Buck Hunter Folding Knife with Hoyt H. Buck Signature with the words "founder-1902" under signature.

The next 3 pics are of a smaller Buck Folding Knife. One side of knife has 2 Brass Bolsters and the other side has 3 Brass Bolsters. The blade looks different from the other knives I have found online but, for all I know the blade could just be damaged badly enough to change the shape. The knife specs: Blade length = 1 7/8" Closed length = 2 3/4" Total length = 4 3/4"
* The most similar knife that I have found is the Buck 505 Knight Folding Lock Back Knife but the one difference I did notice is that the knife that I have has Brass Bolsters and all the Buck 505 Knights that I have found only have Stainless Steel Bolsters.

Thanks for taking the time to check out the pics. If anyone can tell me the models and the dates of these two knives, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Lisa Dawn

Lisa,

The first one is a Model #112. The name for it is Ranger. Offhand I don't recall the date of production, but looking at it I'd say those are from the modern era meaning 420HC blade and Obeechee wood handles. So Post-1994.

The other is a Pakistani knockoff with a broke blade. No offense but that's a throw away knife unless it has some sentimental value.

Isnt the 112 with the Hoyt Buck blade sig and 25th or founders collector tin of some sort?

Fritz is close. That 112 was issued in 2006 as a Walmart Xmas knife. It came in a collectors tin with a picture of Hoyt Buck and call "112 Founder's Edition".
Value new in the tin unsealed is $30 or less.

Fritz has it right. Thats a 2006 founders edition that Walmart sold. It has the curved tang stamp.

But this one has some tarnish of some sort out near the tip.
Looks like it has been a user.
