Hi I bought a knife on vacation and the guys could tell me about all his knives but the one I bought, which is why I bought it. Just wondering if anyone knows the mark or can read it, perhaps give me an idea where I can go to investigate more or if its just a cheap piece of crap lol.
Thanks!

No that would be pretty sweet. Its not a wall hanger, its solid, well made, and has a good balance.

Thanks! I would consider using it if I knew more about it, like steel, resistance, and what not. The guy I bought it off is a good guy but he didn't know much about the blade. I've seen him working in Barkerville for years, he wanted $175 for the blade but gave it to me for $135. I wasn't really haggling the guy just seemed like talkin knives with me and I made a choice between this one and a cheaper more practical knife. I like the balance of this one better. Just want to fill my curiosity as to its origins.

Low/Mid grade made in china hunting knife. Usually sold for less than $20 on those "buy from china direct" wholesale sites.

It almost looks like a custom, if it weren't for the chinese "maker mark".

Those engravings look like they're cast. Usually the biggest giveaway on these cheap knives is the quality of the sheath.

yeah kind of choked when I looked all over the web entering a bunch of things like chinese hunting knife and what not, paid 135 for it, and finding out I could of got 3, the knife feel really good though, just sucks to find out I could of bought one for much less then I paid for it.

Oh well, we all make mistakes. It looks to be full tang at least and a pretty decent design overall; some of these cheap fixed blades can be surprisingly tough, should go out and put it to use.
