Can anyone help me name this Spyderco?

It's an old one that my dad has. It has a molded clip, and a partial (volcano?) grip. No screws to open/ ajust it. Half serrated. On the blade it says "SPYDERCO AUS-8 STAINLESS" and on the back the usual seki-city Japan imprint. Is this a fake? There's no spyder logo on it. Cutting edge is a bit over 2.5". Total length is approx 6.5" total. Does anyone have any ideas? Ill try to get pics later if I can.
