Or give me an approximate age, for that matter. I've had it for twenty years, probably. My granny got it for me at an estate sale in Texas, because she knew I liked such things. It's about twelve inches long, all together, and the head is about five inches from edge to poll. Sorry I don't have more accurate measurements, but my tape has gone missing. It weighs about a pound, at a guess, and is stamped 'Sweden' on the left side of the blade. That is, the left as I hold it edge forward in my right hand. There are traces of green paint on the eye and poll, as well as at the top end of the handle.
I took some pictures which can be seen here.

If anyone would like more pictures, let me know and I'll try to take some ASAP.

Thanks much.

looks like an older hardware store hand axe, the green paint and all that is tell tale...it aint worth nothing unless it has a sentimental value, i'm sure you could clean it up and put a nice sharp edge on it. but other then that its just a regular sweedish axe head.

Thanks, Robert. I figured the value was mostly sentimental, but it never hurts to check.
