New to the forum! Trying to help my Grandpa ID and sell some of his old knives. I have a few that I can not find any information on. This is the buck knife that I can’t find any information on.

-No serial number
-Does have “Buck U.S.A.”

What would a knife like this go for?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Buck forum. The knife is a model 403 'Big Sky'. You are new here so be aware that valuation questions require a paid membership but information is available elsewhere. Take a look over on eBay at completed auctions to get an idea of what they actually sold for. Be sure you compare apples to apples since there are more expensive custom versions. Looking at current auctions, some of the prices appear to be wishful thinking. I notice your knife did not have a model number marked, I think some of the early ones were like that.

Thank you so much! ID'ing it was a huge help! I can do some digging on prices. I really do appreciate it!

SportingSpecialist, nice that you were able to display the OP's image.
New in the '99 catalog, they were gone after not many years, probably done in by the Alpha Hunter series.
I always liked the overall proportions and sheath.

Ya! I was having a hard time posting the picture. I ended up just doing the link. Still figuring the site out.

The handle is very ergonomically appealing

When using Imgur, click on the photo you wish to. Then choose the BBCode, in the box on the right, click on copy. Then in this 'Reply' box right click and choose paste. You will be supplied with a code that will allow the photo to be seen when your close/reply to the thread. HTH.
