I apologize if this is not the right place to ask this. I have a Gerber Silver Knight penknife I was given as a birthday gift back in 1978. I wasn't much into blades back then so I stuck it in my dresser drawer and forgot about it until I rediscovered it today while packing up to move. It's a gorgeous, very elegant-looking little gentleman's single blade folder with what looks like polished Brazilian rosewood scales and a 2.5" blade. On one side of the ricasso is "Gerber International" and the other side is "Sliver Knight, Japan". No marking on the spine or anywhere else. I've looked at every site I can find that references Silver Knights, and have not seen another that looks anything like this one. Just trying to find out the model and a little info on it.
Unfortunately I can't post a pic, but maybe someone would be kind enough to point me somewhere that I might find some history on it.
Thanks,
Scott
