Can anyone identify this axe?

Hey all,

I have been and knife guy for a while now but axes are completely new to me. I know some of you are able to judge an axe maker pretty accurately just by looking at the head so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. The person who polished it said it had a "DY" on top near the pole and there appears to be an 800 on the bottom which I assume is the weight.

Any ideas?

A few of these have appeared, with no real ID. It's decent steel, don't know why the polisher would remove the mark. They're good enough axes, we kind of assumed they're European import-export type deals, mine works good enough. BTW your pictures aren't coming through.
 
Different from the boys axes we've posted here before, but it looks like a shape I see a lot on German imports. The D.Y marking with the weight under the poll has appeared a few times here, but no real information has been found.
 
Everything about it looks European right down to the handle. 800 would be weight in grams (1 3/4 lb).
