Fritz is right. It was a gift tin from 2003 called the "The Battling Bucks". It was made in Taiwan and I THINK it may have been for Walmart which would explain it's absence from the catalog.

The Battling Bucks knife has a different blade and handle then the knife in the first post.

its not my knife and thats the only pic i haveif the handles been modified theres no reason the blade hasn't been too?

I believe that it's the same knife that's been modified. The blade appears shortened to me. I'll take and post a comparison photo of mine with a 119 so we can see the difference.

Look at the area at the tip. That's not a factory edge. Looks like a poor but workable re-profile to me.

I agree it was a 2003 Walmart Christmas tin. Just gotta love the enclosed card in the packaging.. "These valuable pieces often become family heirlooms."

I thought the same thing. It's not your average broken tip job, it looks planned. It almost vaugely reminds me of the Nighthawk in miniature.
