Can anyone identify this knife or point me towards a similar one?

If you saw the newest episode of Burn Notice Thursday, Mike has a knife that has a short blade (maybe one or two inches) and it has a ring at the bottom of the handle. He holds it blade down, with his index finger through the ring, and then he spins it around and catches it. Since it's around his index finger, even if he didn't catch it it wouldn't cut him.

Can someone tell me what kind of knife that was? Or tell me of a similar one (mainly just a fixed blade with a ring on the bottom of the handle). I don't really care how long the blade is or anything.

It is a Karambit. Emerson knives has a fixed blade and folding model. 5.11 Tactical also has a couple karambit models as well.

I have never seen Burn Notice, but it sounds something like a Karambit:

This style of knife is from SE asia and is most often assocaited with Philippine martial arts. There are currently many makers (both custom and productions) of these style knives, both fixed and folders, in a wide range of prices. Just do a google search for "karambit".
